These terms govern your use of the Chronovale website and the watch repair and restoration services we offer from our atelier at 210 Silom Road, Suriyawong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. Please read them at your convenience before engaging our services.

1. Definitions

• Chronovale, we, us, our — the watch repair and restoration atelier operating at the above address
• You, client — any individual who visits our website or engages our services
• Services — the watch inspection, repair, refinishing, and restoration services described on our website
• Agreement — these Terms & Conditions, together with any service agreement confirmed between us
• Watch — any timepiece, movement, or associated component entrusted to our care

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of the website constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our site or services.

3. Our Services

Chronovale offers three principal services: a Condition Report & Care Plan, a Refinish & Reseal Package, and a Collector Heritage Overhaul. Full descriptions are available on our services page. Services are provided from our Bangkok atelier and are available to clients in Thailand and those who can arrange delivery of a timepiece to us.

We reserve the right to decline a service request if the work falls outside our capabilities or if we cannot source appropriate parts to the standard we require.

4. Client Responsibilities

When engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the watch, including its history and any prior repairs you are aware of
• Disclose any known fragility, sentimental significance, or unusual characteristics that may affect the work
• Collect or arrange return of the watch within the agreed timeframe after completion
• Use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others

You agree not to use our website to introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access to any part of our systems, or misrepresent your identity or intentions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, and layout — is the property of Chronovale or used under licence. Nothing on this site grants you any licence to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written agreement.

Service records, condition reports, and documentation we produce in relation to your watch are provided for your personal reference. They may not be published or commercially distributed without our consent.

6. Payment & Fees

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A quote is confirmed before work begins on any service. Payment terms will be agreed at the point of instruction.

For the Collector Heritage Overhaul, a deposit may be requested before work commences, with the balance due on completion. We will discuss this with you in advance.

Cancellations and returns

If you wish to cancel before work has commenced, please contact us promptly and we will do our best to accommodate your request at no charge. Once work has begun, reasonable costs already incurred may apply. We will discuss any such costs with you openly before proceeding.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Condition Report & Care Plan

The report is an assessment only; no repair work is carried out at this stage. The report is advisory and does not commit you or us to any further engagement.

Refinish & Reseal Package

The scope of work is agreed with you before commencement. We will advise if, during the work, we identify additional concerns that may affect the outcome.

Collector Heritage Overhaul

All replaced components are set aside and returned to you with a condition summary. Photography and documentation are produced throughout the process. We take particular care with originality and will discuss any sourcing decisions with you before proceeding.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are carried out with care and skill. However, watch repair involves inherent uncertainties — particularly with aged, rare, or previously modified pieces. We cannot represent that all outcomes will be as hoped, and we do not make promises about the condition or performance of a watch after service beyond what is explicitly stated in the agreed scope.

Information on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional advice on valuation, insurance, or collectability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of value, loss of use, or sentimental loss.

This limitation does not apply in cases of negligence causing physical damage to your watch while in our care. In such cases, liability will be assessed in accordance with Thai law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Chronovale harmless from any claims, costs, or losses arising from your breach of these terms, any misrepresentation you have made, or your unlawful use of our website or services.

11. Termination

Either party may bring the service relationship to a close at any time with reasonable notice. If we withdraw from a service already in progress, we will discuss the situation with you and agree on fair terms for the return of your watch and any costs already incurred. Terms regarding payment, IP, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage an initial conversation directly with us — most concerns can be resolved without formality. If that is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

13. General Provisions

These terms represent the entire agreement between us regarding use of this website. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Our failure to enforce a right on one occasion does not waive that right in the future. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the updated date shown above. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
